The Largest registered Chemical

Spill in the United States

Graniteville (South Carolina)

Works Carried Out:

The train crash is the largest chemical spill in U.S. history.

The factory was affected. The walls were impregnated with chloride in such a high content that it was a lethal pollutant for human beings.

This involved gigantic logistics of materials and equipment.

Is a special feature of this work since it was a 2-story heritage building from 1910.

At this time, lead paints were used, and we had to train hundreds of people in asbestos and lead paint removal.
